Hole #14
Hole number fourteen is a beautiful golf hole with a moderate elevation change from tee to green. Standing on the tee box all seems good, doesn’t it? It is good if you can land your drive left center and let it trickle right as the fairway slopes from left to right. Be careful of the hazard line down the left though and there is a retention pond after the woods line on the right that may be sighted from the forward tee boxes and is usually in play for most golfers. Playing from the tips here is a bit more challenging due to the additional distance. Most golfers will end up inside of 100 yards for their approach shot to the green.
Your second shot to the green will have to fly in and stick. The green is small and slopes right to left and back to front a bit. There is little room for error if you miss right or long, and you will have to come on from heavy rough to a downhill landing zone if you miss left.
