Hole #16
Hole number sixteen is pretty straight forward and a longer par three than hole number 11 as it is uphill all the way. We call it the shortest par four in the lakes region due to the fact that if you come away from this one with a bogey or better, you have dodged a bullet. Looking toward the green from your tee box you will note that it is fairly open, but an out of bounds line runs up the right side just beyond the cart path, and the rough is very heavy left of the green which could make things difficult for your next shot. Come up short and we hope you have been practicing your flop shots as of late. Go too long and you are high on the hill with a knee knocker coming back to the flag. This green slopes gently from back to front and depending on the pin placement, you will have to guard against running off the green when chipping on or putting from above the pin.
